2013 AGM

CPS 21st   AGM 7th  December 2013 at 11 a.m. 



This is to invite you to our 21st AGM, which is rapidly approaching. Please make a note of the date and come and enjoy a day of sharing work, catching up with members, using the opportunity to purchase items, eating well and participating in the 21st AGM (does this mean the group ‘comes of age’?) You will have the opportunity to renew your membership for next year and book workshops for 2014.

If you are on email you will not be sent the hard copy versions.

All existing committee members are willing to continue/be re-elected for 2014 however, we would welcome more committee members in order to share the tasks. You may wish to nominate someone or self nominate, in which case you will need to bring a completed ‘Nomination to committee’ form.

There will be an exhibition table for members to bring and display work and some files of our CPS Envelope Exchange 2013 work to see (worth spending some time on).

A few items CPS stock will be for sale together with the remaining 20th Anniversary mugs.

Ex-CPS library books and magazines will be for sale and a Bring and Buy table for members to sell calligraphic books, art materials and ‘homemade’ Christmas treats.

If you bring an item to sell on the Bring and Buy please put a ticket with the item together with your name and the price required in order to make this a simple process. Diane Sutton has kindly offered to run this stall.

There will be the two libraries (CPS and Augusto’s) and remember; if you have books to return please bring them with you.

The committee will provide mulled wine, soft drinks and puddings so would you please bring savoury finger food (nothing that requires heating up or cooking due to too little space and time). Tea and coffee will be available during the day.

The 20th Anniversary work you submitted for the exhibition last year will be ready for you to collect. If you wish to keep your work in the frame then we shall need to charge you £5 for it but if you do not wish to keep the frame please remove your work from it and leave the frame behind.

We would value your help in helping to clear the hall at the end of the meeting.
