 Welcome to our self-help, self-teach, democratic calligraphic group for like-minded scribblers!    We work on a 4-week basis with visiting tutor - or own member-run workshops; our own or group projects with regular group critiques and refreshment breaks when you want. 

 

If you would like to come along and try it for a week you are most welcome – just bring some extra biscuits some work and stay as long as you like – we will be pleased to welcome you.

 

Hall time                         2.00 pm – 9.00 pm (come for as long as you like)

Next dates 2008           Wednesdays 10 + 17 September; 8 + 22 October; 5 + 19 November;
                                        3 + 10 December

Cost                                £15 per person (once you have decided to join) - covers room hire and refreshments
                                        for all dates.

 Washing up etc – hopefully we are adult enough not to need a rota!

 We have already had the pleasure of three workshops – Marking with Accents, using acrylics and sgraffito technique with Meg; Rubber Stamping and Embossing with Dawn; Cut Lettering with Sue and Watercolour/Paper surface techniques with visiting Art tutor Ann Roach BA. 

 Everyone should feel free to offer any other suggestions or requests, including hints and tips and possible tutors/workshops and spread the word to anyone you think might be interested in joining us.

 If you are unable to come for some reason, please let someone know especially if you are the refreshment person.  Let’s hope everything goes with a flourish!
