Knowing how to use bookbinding skills and techniques to compliment your calligraphy opens up many possibilities for presenting your work. This three day course will help you develop your skills and learn new ones as you use precise cutting, gluing and finishing practices. Day 1 will cover simple and effective structures particularly useful for calligraphy but also for making gifts. This will prepare you for Days 2 and 3 in which we will make a more complex multi-section binding and then a slip case for the book. Suitable for all levels of experience. |
