SATURDAY 17th APRIL – 10.30 – 11.30
In lieu of the planned workshop with Jan Pickett, please join us for a virtual Coffee Morning – it’s been far too long since we have seen each other!
I know several members are dubious about using Zoom and I really sympathise. But the idea of our Coffee Morning is for us all to have a leisurely chat from our own comfy chair; slurping a coffee or two; nibbling on that jammy doughnut and helping those who are still unsure on how to get over that Zoom hurdle. Don’t let your eyes glaze over with fear, read on …
Absolutely no pressure or stress involved, just CPS friends – the perfect environment in which to learn and once you step over that threshold, you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it before – I know, I’ve eaten that t-shirt!! Then a whole new world will open up with tutors from all over the world.
You use your own computer / laptop / iPad / phone; we won’t let it be complicated or confusing and no question will be too silly, honest!
In many ways, Zoom lessons are superior to physical lessons where a dozen members crowding around a Tutor makes it is difficult to see what is being demonstrated. With Zoom you get a close-up demonstration every time and the whole session is recorded so you can watch it back later and remind yourself of bits you might be unsure of.
When you enrol for a Zoom lesson it will be the same procedure as you have mastered in our Coffee Morning session.
Don’t be shy or scared just email me to say you want to have a go and I will put your mind at rest. A few days before the event, I will send you an email which includes a link which you click on at the given time. That will ask you to download Zoom – we will talk you through anything you are not sure of and unusual terminology.
Check out the simple Guide to using Zoom at the rear of the last magazine which you may find useful
If you want to join us, then email Steve at email@example.com to register, and he will email you the joining link before the date.
