CPS Workshop 20 October 2007 'Styles of Illumination' with Tim Noad Venue: Evington Village Hall, Hastingleigh
Illuminated letters are one of the most distinctive features of medieval manuscripts. We can adapt them for use in contemporary work. In this workshop we will be using modernised versals to design our own initials. The letters will be gilded with PVA, against a background of sponging with patterns reserved in masking fluid. |
