CPS Workshop 'Layering' with Mick Paine Venue: St Mary's
School, Laureston Place, Dover, Kent CT16 1QX
The course comprises two two-day sessions: Day 1 (10 February): Working with various tools - expanding skills and generating materials for - Day 2 (11 February): Collage - introduction to techniques and materials Day 3 (06 October): Using collages to develop work; looking at ways of composing with letters Day 4 (07 October): Final resolution of finished pieces
Emphasis will be placed on "meaning" and finding appropriate means of expressing that meaning. Students will work on their chosen theme throughout and those attending will be expected to attend all 4 days. Two untutored follow-up days have been arranged on 24 March and 15 September for attendees to get together to work and discuss progress. |
