CPS Special 2-Day Workshop 05 - 06 May 2007 'Drawn and Painted Letter Forms' with Hazel Dolby Venue: St Mary's

One of the many joys of painting and drawing letterforms is that they can be applied to a variety of surfaces that would not be suitable for a pen. We will look at the Capital letter and how these letterforms can be drawn using the knowledge gained from the use of the edged pen. You will also be introduced to the designing of your own letterforms and the use of a pointed brush for painting these letters onto paper or cloth. The cost for the 2 days is £40. This workshop would not be suitable for people new to calligraphy. |
