CPS Workshop

22 March 2008

'Carolingian' with Gaynor Goffe

Venue: Evington Village Hall, Hastingleigh

Carolingian (based on the 9th Century French version), is an attractive, flowing script which is relatively simple to learn. This workshop is suitable for all levels including beginners, as much of   the tuition is on an individual basis, with group demonstrations as required. The workshop will cover learning the Carolingian alphabet, using it at different nib sizes, guidance with letter spacing and simple lay-out of short texts.  Time permitting, capitals suitable for use with the script can be demonstrated and taught.
