CPS Workshop 20 September 2008 'Hinged Diptych' with Ally Trelfer and Meg Chapman Venue: Evington Village Hall, Hastingleigh
Do you want a different way to present your work? Then this is the workshop for you. The morning will be spent preparing the background on pre-stretched paper; making a dummy diptych and looking at different techniques which can be used on the panels. In the afternoon we will begin to prepare and cut up the panels from the boards. We will need to work fast as in this short space of time you may not complete the diptych but you will have a fair idea of where it is heading and will be able to finish it at home. You will need to come with two boards already prepared with stretched paper and an idea of something that you would like to put on your diptych, eg a poem or a theme, so that the final pieces stand as two pictures in their on own right but creating a complete image when seen as a pair. |
