Making a successful manuscript book usually requires careful design and a series of compromises. In this workshop, you will learn techniques for exploring compromises and for developing designs that work, appropriate to the subject matter of the text. The Tschichold Grid and the one third/two thirds rules will be explained as starting points. You will design and make a single-opening book or a single section book.

Suitable for all levels of experience.
